We believe that our Veteran community is one of the greatest untapped resources in America. We also believe that there are some major challenges facing not just America, but the world as a whole, and there is no better population than our Veterans to help lead and solve these challenges.
These challenges include a farming population that has been aging and dwindling for years, a food supply chain and ecosystem that has been hit hard by COVID, small farmers going out of business, and people starving not just globally - but right here in America. There is a lifestyle we are losing that is associated with all of these challenges - the lifestyle of working with, embracing, and caring for mother nature. This also comes at a time when research is showing significant benefits of dirty therapy and nature drive therapy to the mental well being of not just Veterans, but for the entire population.
It is with this backdrop that we have incorporated supporting our Veterans into everything we do at Tatley Outpost. It is much more than just farming. There is an ecosystem that must be supported and a new generation of new and old that must come together for the well being of us all.
To that end we have partnered with like minded Veterans, Companies, Community Organizations, and individual supporters on this great journey. Additionally, we are a key member of several programs within Veteran Affairs, grant recipients with Veteran Affairs and other Non-Profits, and members of several community organizations. We believe it takes a village, a learning mindset, and perseverance for the long haul to solve these great challenges.
